Hi,
I have a subscription to Find My Past and hints for individuals pop up on Family Historian 7 from Find My Past. Can I introduce the individual pages of transcription into Family Historian 7 and could someone in simple steps tell me how I do it. As far as I can see there is no 'download' button on the hints.
Birth certificates etc I have been able to scan and introduce into Family Historian using the 'add media' route. Of course I can if necessary print and scan the hints from FMP and introduce into the individual as above but that seems very long winded. Presumably there must be a way to introduce the hints page directly. Help please

Douglas,
They are what they say they are, i.e. Hints. You have to decide for yourself whether they are relevant or not, then enter the information into FH yourself. There is no automatic download function to copy it directly into FH.

Further to gowermick’s comment, if you have a subscription to FMP you don’t need to print then scan the document from the hint.
Just find the record from the website and download it. You can then import it to FH in the normal way this avoiding any unnecessary printing.

Re: FMP Hints transferring to FH7
The conventional way to add historical records to FH is to visit one of the many online genealogical sites.
See FHUG Knowledge Base > Links > Services & Utilities > Research Resources for a list, many of which are free.
Search for the person, year & event until you find the desired record, which must be downloaded and added to FH.
That process is much the same as if you had scanned in a physical document for the same person, year & event.
There is no automatic process, although it can be made more efficient by using Ancestral Sources.
The FindMyPast and MyHeritage 'hints' in FH simply provide a shortcut to the online search process.
It is NOT like the Ancestry and FindMyPast online 'hints' that offer automatic addition to the online tree.
The FH strategy is that you need to ratify the record more closely rather than just press a button, which is what leads to so many online trees having dubious branches.
