Print Large Tree Diagrams

Post by neh664kxy5746 » 08 Dec 2021 22:36

I have a tree that is 16 levels high and extremely large horizontally. I would like to print this chart as one big scroll that can handle a lot of boxes horizontally. Does anyone know of a services/plugin or other means by which I can do that.

Norm, I have moved and retitled your posting because the thread you added it to is an entirely different topic.

Your previous posting Family tree printing (19437) may have the answer.

Check the Save Diagram As PDF File feature that supports PDF pages upto 200″ x 200″ or 5080 mm x 5080mm.
See FHUG Knowledge Base Single PDF Page of a Diagram that gives advice about adjusting large Diagrams for printing and where they can be printed.

Do you have a printer that supports long paper rolls or are you expecting to use a professional print company?

If that raises further questions then please ask.

I know it isn't the normal convention, but I prefer left to right charts, rather than top down, as they seem to use far less paper.
