Warning feature for changes in Properties screen?

Post by woodr2011 » 26 Oct 2021 20:49

Is there an optional warning feature (a popup that asks "make this change?") when editing dates in events in the Properties window? It seems to be quite easy to change numerical values inadvertently while in that window.

Only if the change is outside of normal limits for that field.
If you do accidentally change a value you always simply use the undo option to immediately change it back.

In case you have not yet discovered it, the undo feature is in the Edit menu near the top left corner of the main window.
You can also use Ctrl+Z as a shortcut.
But the undo must be performed before you close FH.

There are also Backups and Snapshots that allow you to revert to earlier versions of your data.
