Could someone tell me where I am going wrong.
As a trial I am doing a single person narrative book for my grandfather.
On his Focus screen I have 4 photos of him. With his facts I have photos against 5 facts - these photos are also the same as the ones on his focus screen.
When I do the narrative book I have edited what settings I can and have chosen photos to appear on right hand side as I don't want them just sitting above text with a blank space next to them. Is it possible to place different photos in different places? Or to have a text wrap should I choose to have them on the left hand side?
Also I would like my photos to appear next to the fact they refer to. Is this possible.
And finally how do I stop photos appearing twice? Do I have to remove them from the Focus Screen or the Fact so that they only appear once.
Also is it possible to save the document as a .doc file so that I can edit it. I can see I can save it as pdf or text but not .doc
Many thanks

Re: Printing and Photos
Is it possible to place different photos in different places?
The Report > Options > Pictures tab has three groups of pictures for the Individual Media tab, the Spouse Media tab, and the Facts & Places. The Picture Location must be the same for all members of one group.
Or to have a text wrap should I choose to have them on the left hand side?
No, that is not possible with the FH options.

Do I have to remove them from the Focus Screen or the Fact so that they only appear once?
You might achieve that by using the Report > Options > Pictures tab Max Pics counts and the Media tab Pref order.
Alternatively, open the picture you want to exclude via the Media tab or the Facts tab Show Media button.
Edit the picture and tick Exclude from Reports.
Also is it possible to save the document as a .doc file so that I can edit it. I can see I can save it as pdf or text but not .doc
Save it as a Word-processor Document (RTF) which opens in almost any word-processor and then saved in any format that word-processor offers.
See Report Content, Media, Format and Layout for tips.

Many thanks for your clear reply Mike.
Re: Printing and Photos
That works well, it also allows me to format the picture as per placement and text wrap. Thank you.
