I have brought up a list of all the people in my tree and would like to bring a certain person up as the focus person so that I can work on their file. Unsure how to do this. Double clicking does bring the data box up but I want them to appear as the focus person as well so I can work on that family.
The person is unlinked - (I know they are part of my tree somewhere but not sure where at the moment) so clicking on the ancestor file does not help.
Thank you.

Re: Choosing a person from list of people and have them show as focus person.
Click the main toolbar magnifying glass Focus icon Display in Focus Window.
In the Property Box that you opened, click the similar toolbar magnifying glass icon Display in Focus Window.
There are other magnifying glass icons that all do the same thing.
There are clues in the Help > Quick Start Guide ~ have you read that?

Thank you Mike.
I'm afraid sometimes I have sometimes found it hard to navigate the Help guide. It's headings (to me) have not really been self explanatory.
That being said - I am persevering and reading what I think is closest. Also just checking out others at random that I think will come in handy.
Once you get to the right place though the information is excellent and I've found many things of interest and that will be helpful.
