Hi,
not sure if this is a bug in FH7...
I have a citation I want to add to, say, three different facts for an individual.
I copy the citation
I select all 3 facts - the 'paste citation' icon stays enabled
I paste the citation
I check the results - the citation has only pasted into one fact
a) is this a bug? If it won't paste into multiple selected facts, shouldn't the paste citation button be disabled? Or it should paste into all facts (preferable)
b) is there another way to do this given the obvious method isn't working (apart from doing them all individually)
many thanks

No, it isn't a bug -- by design, you can only paste to one fact at a time.
Take a look at Automatic Source Citation(ASC): Help file and Knowledge Base
However ASC works when you're creating new facts or updating existing ones, rather than just adding a new citation to an existing unchanged fact.

IMO it is a bug that the Paste Citation button is not disabled when multiple Facts are selected.
However, FH is quite inconsistent in that respect as outlined below...
When multiple Facts are selected the Copy Fact and Delete Fact buttons are active and do indeed handle all those Facts.
When multiple Facts are selected the Witnesses button is sensibly disabled, however, the Show Media button still appears active although it does nothing when clicked.
The cog Menu sensibly disables the three Show... options when multiple Facts are selected, and that includes Show Sources, although the separate Show Sources button above remains active throughout and operates on the latest Fact to be selected, which may not be the one highest in the list.
