In TMG I found it really helpful to be able to see a spouse/marriage date for children on the main focus window.

Is it possible to customise the FH7 main focus window to show this and if so, how please?

This isn't currently possible.

There is a wish list item you can vote for: Spouse details for Children in Focus Window

In the meantime there are two alternatives:

1) A small Ancestors & Descendants or All Relatives Diagram with a docked or floating Property Box.
i.e. Diagram > Options set 2 Generations Up and 1 Generation Down.

2) The Quick Family Facts plugin and if necessary take a screenshot so it can be displayed alongside FH.
