* Errors in display of Focus Window (V6)

I am getting display errors such as the attached.
Margaret Joan Baker is Ken's mother, not his spouse.
The children have the correct birth dates but the "(aged xx) field is cut off.
The children are all alive. The death dates make no sense, and there is nothing in the Died field of the individual record.
I have tried reinstalling V6 but it did not fix it. Any ideas?

Have you checked the underlying data -- i.e. is Margaret Joan Baker linked as a spouse *and* a mother to Kenneth Willoughby Barker. If so, you need to sort out the underlying data and identify how the error crept in.

The display error is a separate problem. What version of Windows are you running on? Is it up-to-date with all Microsoft updates? And is your display driver up to date?

The more I inspect that screenshot, the more it looks like a display corruption.
There is a discontinuity running vertically down the lefthand edge of the box for Margaret Joan BAKER that continues down through the Married details, the child Birth details, and the Add Child link.

That lower right quadrant of the Focus Window looks like it might be what would appear there if Arthur J W BARKER and his wife Margaret Joan BAKER were in Focus with the Death Dates of their children.

The Focus has changed to their son Kenneth Willoughby BARKER but that lower right quadrant has not been updated.

So I don't think he is married to his mother, it is some sort of display glitch.
However, I have no idea how it survives a re-installation of FH.

Try changing Focus to some other people and back to these people and see what happens.

I run a laptop with a HDMI connected screen and 2 more via USB3toHDMI connectors.
I sometimes get that kind of display corruption and other problems on connected screens on some popout windows, mainy with FH and Memory Map, but also other programs. Never with things like MS Office. I suspect they have not been written to cope, or their methodology cannot control it.
However, I do not recollect it since moving to FHv7, but happened a lot with v6 (especially property box). I note you are still on v6.

I just have to make sure I run the programs and popouts on the best screen.
