Hi All:
FH Version 6 user here - fully updated - and have a question regarding the MERGE/COMPARE function.
Discarding the obvious reason for doing this, I have an ungodly amount of _UID and _AMTID entries in 350+ individuals. I understand these more than likely came over from a GEDCOM file but I wish to rid my entire project file of these entries. Why? Just for shxxts and giggles!
Seriously though, other than marking each and every one as DISCARD, is there a Bulk function/plugin to delete and/or mark as DISCARD and then run the Merge?
I've scanned thru the plug-in store and nothing seems to provide this function. Or did I overlook one?
Thanks in advance -- stay safe out there!

Re: Removing Useless _UID & _AMTID Entries
See the FHUG Knowledge Base Handling Uncategorised Data Fields that explains how to list them and delete them in bulk.
That is mainly associated with importing GEDCOM which is where, as you say, they likely came from.

Hi Mike.
Thanks for the suggestion for that article. I’m in process of installing FH 7 and and will see how my v6 project rolls over. Hopefully that work around is compatible with v7.
Again many thanks - much appreciated.
Stay safe- cheers
