Family Historian User Group

Just applied the FH7.0.3 patch and the upgrade process completely locked up towards the end. I had to close it via Task Manager (Win10).

I've just reloaded FH and it shows the 7.0.3 version numberand so far everything seems to be working.

Thought I'd post this in case it happens to others.

As a general rule when installing applications I ensure that Administrator privileges are applied.
That means not just running in an Administrator enabled account but also running the installation executable via the right-click Run as administrator option, which is more likely to propagate the Administrator privileges to sub-processes.
