Census templates in a Book

Post by peterbel » 22 Mar 2021 19:58

Is there a way to edit these, or the page they are on, so they fit the page?
Several of mine are over wide and contain empty rows.

Seems not !
Is it possible to switch from portrait to landscape and back to portrait with the book?
The Descendants section seems less editable than others.

I rotate the census (on my photo software) such that it is vertical when I do narrative reports. Once I am on the report I move the image to make it bigger and more readable. This is done on Word not PDF

@Victor: Peter is talking about Rich Text Tables.

Victor, I think Peter is talking about a transcription of a census in a table in the source text rather than an image.

Yes it is the tabular Census data that are over wide and has empty rows.

It is a 'snag' with wide tables in Books & Reports that CP did not anticipate during the development of FH V7.
They are probably working on a solution, so just be patient and see what emerges in due course
