FH7 Crashes

Post by mezentia » 17 Mar 2021 15:55

Has anyone seen this behaviour with V7?

An incorrect date is spotted on a media record associated with a source citation. Using the blue arrow on the source panel to reach the source record, then clicking on the Media tab, followed by the blue arrow again to get to the media record the date is corrected on the title and the date field. I then step backwards twice using the left facing white arrow when the date on the source is corrected, at which point FH hangs and then eventually crashes.

I am not entirely certain of the exact sequence of events as I did not write them down, but I have now had this happen on two occasions.

Before trying to replicate the problem I thought I would see if anyone else has experienced this, and reported it already.

I've tried following your steps and changed both Date and Title then returned using the Back button without problems.
I don't remember anyone else having that problem.

I'll try and reproduce it, noting each step.

I can now reproduce this problem consistently. I'll report it to CP.

I have sent CP a detailed account for this, and it has been confirmed as a bug.
