Diagram Toolbar
I have been using Family Historian since V3, updating to V7 at Christmas. Since then I have noticed when working with diagrams that the Diagrams Tool Bar is temperamental. Occasionally it displays correctly. Usually however, it displays on one line, hiding many of the buttons:
I have discovered that by clicking the restore down option and then re-maximising the window the toolbar resets itself and appears correctly:
Is there a way of getting it to always display correctly without having to do this?

It might help us to know what version of Windows you're using (or what other environment if not Windows).

Re: Diagram Toolbar
I suspect there's some magic algorithm for determining when the diagram toolbars moves underneath the main toolbar (to save vertical space when there's plenty of horizontal space.)
If your seeing it to be unpredictable, it's worth loging a report with Calico Pie: http://support.calico-pie.com/open.php

Re: Diagram Toolbar
When it happens again could you post a screenshot?
See Forum Usage Tips Attachments for how to do that.

Re: Diagram Toolbar
I can make it happen but only intermittently, and I haven't worked out the sequence of events yet -- it's definitely related to window resizing while a diagram is open.

Re: Diagram Toolbar
A truncated, single line tool bar occasionally happens in v6. I think it usually clears with any window revamp though since much of what I do in diagrams uses right-click access, I seldom notice the issue.Stratton52 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2021 12:53... Re: Diagram Toolbar
The toolbar displays like this 99% of the time. It was only by accident that we discovered the work round. I never saw this with V6.

Re: Diagram Toolbar
I have checked my display settings. They were identical to those posted by ColeValleyGirl, apart from the Toolbar which was set at 'Medium' rather than 'Big'. I have tried changing the settings but it makes no difference.
