v7 trial
If I download the 30 day free trial of v7 would this overwrite my v6. or work as a 2nd installation.And after the 30 days I decide not to instal v7 would it revert to v6 automatically or would I need to reinstal v6.

Installing FH V7 Trial will overwrite FH V6 and irreversibly reformat Project GEDCOM files and customization files.
So, unless you take precautions to allow you to revert to FH V6, there will be no easy way back.
You will need full backups of all Projects and all ProgramData & Windows Registry customization settings.
e.g. 'Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings' plugin.
Also, you must be sure you have the necessary installation media and licence keys to reinstall FH V6.2.
See Uninstall Version 7 and revert to Version 6 (18723) where those precautions had not been taken.
