Picture size in waterfall diagram

Post by peterbel » 12 Feb 2021 16:04

Is there a way to size an individual picture in this diagram?
I have just one image that because it is 'letter box' shape, it obscures all the text in the box.
I have found the 'Maximum Picture' control in Options>Pictures can size it correctly but then it makes all the others too small.
Thanks

Such pictures are assumed to be photos of Individuals, so it is a bit unusual to have a 'letter-box' shaped personal photo.

Have you considered the Pictures tab Picture Position option Within the text?

I don't think there is any way of 'cropping' the picture in the Diagram, but you could try using the Face detail frame feature of the Individual Media tab so that only a 'portrait' shaped part of the photo is used in the Diagram.

Thanks Mike.
The photo is a once hidden grave inscription of the individual so I elevated to an 'Individual' photo.
It is a crop of a larger image so more manipulation is not possible.
I hadn't looked into Within the text however it is just good enough to rebalance the text and photos.
Thanks again
