Removing a Non Existant Place entry

Post by deckie49 » 11 Feb 2021 22:44

I've been spending some time cleaning up Places in my database using <Work with Data> <Places>.
The resulting Place List shows a Cemetery in the Part 1 column.
The issue is that this Cemetery does not exist within my database (as far as I can determine).
The Place List "Used" column shows 0.
The "Where Used" report is blank.
A search turned up nothing
I even went into the project's GEDCOM and couldn't locate it.
I looked into the "Addresses" list and it is not listed there.
This is after doing a RM import.

Can someone offer some thoughts?
Thanks

Just like all records, they are listed in the Records Window under the Places tab.
That also shows the number of Links so 0 use Places can be easily identified.

See the FHUG Knowledge Base advice on how to Delete One or Many Records that explains the options, but if only a few then select the records one at a time and hit the keyboard Delete key or use Edit > X Delete command.
