is it rectifiable given that I haven't done a backup for a while ...
Do you happen to have any saved Charts (not the same thing as diagram types) and, if so, do they have all the required box conditions? If you have any they will be under Charts > Saved Charts.
It would be possible to recover the box conditions from a saved Chart by saving it as a new custom diagram type.
Thanks Lorna, but they are so old that they precede the use of expressions to add the icons :(

Mike,
I did a full backup before I upgraded & I did the Backup & Restore settings plus a registry backup. I restored the full backup to my laptop (I had added a lot of information since the last time I had used it.) I tried to use the Backup & Restore settings plugin, but it said it couldn't find the file it needed. I've not used it before, so rather feeling my way on that.

I'll have one more look at it and then resort to recreating the expressions; it would just be nice to see what I had previously created!
Thanks for your help; I now know what I did wrong and I def won't be doing that again!!

You cannot use the Backup and Restore FH Settings plugin or its backups now that you have upgraded to FH V7.
That is because the FH V6.2 customisation formats differ from the FH V7.0 customisation formats.
That is why we recommend that when migrating from PC to PC you stick to the same FH version until it is all OK.
It is also easier to recognise any migration problems if you use the FH version you are familiar with.

Your FH V6.2 on the old PC should have the Diagram customisations you are looking for but they must be transferred by hand.

My laptop is still on v6.2 and I used the saved v 6 backup from my PC. The data restore worked OK - just the 6.2 plugin for settings that I'm struggling to restore on the 6.2 laptop .

Ah, my laptop was never updated with the expressions as I haven't used the laptop much since I finished my split-location existence. Another huge mistake!

Thanks Mike, I'll start reinventing them tomorrow!
