Two witnesses or which one

Here's my dilemma, the best man and bridesmaid at a wedding are both also the witnesses to the wedding. My question is how do you put them into the Witnesses? Do I put them in twice, once as Witness and once as best man/bridesmaid or just as one or the other and if so what one?

You can enter them as both Witness and Best Man / Bridesmaid.
In FH v7.0 both roles will get included in all Reports as long as Fact Witnesses are included.
It is just that the wording in Narrative reports is a bit repetitive:
"He was the best man at the wedding of John SMITH and Jane JONES on 14 February 1947 in Clifton, Bristol, England. He witnessed the marriage of John SMITH and Jane JONES on 14 February 1947 in Clifton."
Unfortunately, you cannot improve that by editing the Sentence at the bottom of his Facts tab for the Marriage.
You could create a new Role of Best Man and Witness and define Sentence Templates for that joint role.

If you add him twice, you could edit one of the two sentences in the Witness Dialog. So make the Bestman one say, "He was also the bestman" for example.

Ah yes! I was looking for somewhere to customise the specific sentences.
Double-click on the Marriage event to open the Witness dialogue where the same person is both Best Man and Witness.
You need to move them up/down to determine the order of the sentences.
So assuming the Best Man role comes first (because that role plays his part first) then leave that Witness Sentence alone.
Select his entry as a Witness, then in the Witness Sentence box click the right-hand droplist and choose Edit Sentence.
It could say: "Afterwards, he formally witnessed the marriage."
