Hello readers,
I have created a 1939 icon by copying a 1911 icon from JMCensusIcons.
It is in the correct icon folder.
Yet when I try to select the new icon in in the diagram by selecting Diagram Options - Box Features - Select, the new icon is not showing in the list of icons.
Any suggestions.

By "correct icon folder" do you mean C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Icons\ or a sub-folder therein?
Did you choose that sub-folder in Box Features?
In Box Features click the Help button and read all about the Icon option and the requirements of custom Icon size, etc.

Hello tatewise,
My icons are in a slightly different folder but have never had any problems till now. First time I've created an icon.
The folder is C:\Users\Derek\Documents\Family Historian Projects\Icons. Why? Because that's where the other icons all are.
I looked in File Explorer for the correct folder and it is not showing.
I did a search for Icons and found the correct! folder as stated by yourself and the help page.
Placed the new icon in that folder and it is now ok.
Now a new question is why is C:\ProgramData folder not showing in File Explorer?

In the infinite wisdom of Microsoft, it is a Hidden folder
See
Family Historian Program Data Folder for details of how to unhide it.
The reason for the change in FH V7.0 is to ensure
Icon files will migrate for PC to PC.
Your
C:\Users\Derek\Documents\Family Historian Projects\Icons folder is not guaranteed to exist on a new PC.
So all your custom
Icons would vanish from
Diagrams. Users have reported that problem here.
It might be
C:\Users\Genie\Documents\Family Historian Projects\Icons so all the Icon paths would be wrong.
The
C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\ folder is guaranteed the same on all PC.
BTW: I advise you use the
Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings plugin to backup all your preferences & customisations like Icons, Diagrams, Reports, Queries, Fact Sets, Plugins, Records Window Columns, etc, etc... that are
NOT include in FH Project Backups.
