Changing the columns of children in property box

Post by JoopvB » 30 Dec 2020 11:46

When adding children to a couple I would like one extra column in the list of children: the Place where they were born.

Many documents specify a couple and their children with their names, birth date and birth place. Now I have to go to the property box for each child to enter the birth place. It would be great if the birth place could be added to the children listed.

Can it be done and if so, how?

You will have to ask Calico Pie to add a feature like that as it cannot be done in FH now.

Try Ancestral Sources which captures popular documents such as Census returns, Birth Certificates and Baptism records where parents and children can all be entered together. AS is good at capturing those documents by creating a Source record and adding Facts with Citations to that Source in a more efficient way than using FH itself.
