Sources/Citations in V7
Perhaps I'm being a little thick here but in the past, pre V7, I had a source such as 'Parish register - Baptisms'. When adding this to a baptism fact I was able to add which parish it related to and the date of the entry. Can I do this in the new version?

Yes, via the new Citations Window that is opened by the new yellow Edit Source Citation button next to the Copy Citation button in the toolbar.

As you have V7 if you create the source and then drop on the media, there is a rename source media DEA which will rename your media and the media record to match the Source title, which makes it quicker especially if you are considering moving to using source templates.

I should stop coming to this Forum. What is a DEA?

Glad you asked that. I haven't a clue either. I sometimes feel like a kindergarten kid in a university class

It is Data Entry Assistant and one of the new FH V7 features.
Take a look at the FH Help > What's New in Family Historian 7? under Source-Driven Data Entry.

In a nutshell, they are basically Calico Pie’s version of Ancestral Sources. They provide a third alternative method for entering source data into FH and creating events, after manual entry and AS. Each method has its pros and cons, so it is a good idea to try them all in time to see which you prefer.
