FH asking to save Gedcom changes when there have been none.

If V7 is opened and then a Note or Text from Source window is opened (to enable the text to be read easily) and closed again without any change being made to the text, and then the program is closed before there has been any autosave, a message appears asking if you want to save changes to the gedcom file. But no changes have been made. This doesn't happen unless a Note or Text from Source window has been opened and closed.

This is only a minor irritation but I don't remember this happening with V6. Can anyone confirm that this behaviour is new to V7? If so I'll report it to Calico Pie.

Lorna,

I am still using 6.2.7. I do not get the "do you want to save" message when following these steps.

Hi Lorna,

I still have v6.27 on my "Backup Computer" and I can confirm that it is something new in v7.

I have just tried it on both systems and it only prompts to save on V7.

Thank you all for confirming that. I'll report it to Calico Pie. (It's not really a problem but did make me wonder whether I had accidentally made a change without realising!)

This has been fixed in V7.0.1.1
