In several other applications I was able to take a fact type and easily make it appear or disappear in various outputs. TMG and Rootsmagic both have that capability. Is there any such capability in FH?
I have created a custom fact that is only used with charts and I don't want it to be used in narrative reports.
* Change how and where a FACTYPE will appear.

Take a look at this article in the knowledge base:
how_to:report_options:main_contents|> Report Options ~ Main or Contents Tab under Events/Attributes.

If you don't want a particular Fact to appear in Narrative Reports then alter its Sentence Template to {blank}.
In Tools > Fact Types select FACTTYPE and Edit... to set its Sentence Template: to {blank}.

redvanman - I looked at your link and I was able to create an exclude list which included just the fact that I wanted to have ignored. This worked out well. I can easily alter the list at any time to exclude others or revert to the original settings.
Mike - I tried your suggestion and it worked but the sentence needed to be permanently altered which would not work well if I just wanted to temporarily exclude a fact type. When I want the fact type back again I would need to reconstruct the sentence template.
