Fact 1 REFN

Post by kcuypers » 28 Jul 2020 00:43

Hello,

I run a website where I need a fact "1 REFN" to do something special
In my gedcom (is very old, started in 1993 and used about 4 other programs before),
I don't have/find the fact "1 REFN" in my gedcom in Family Historian

In your example Gedcom, comes with Family Historian there I find it :

On the 26th line is what I miss:

"1 REFN C1"

Is it possible to add a FACT "1 REFN" in my gedcom? and if yes, how can I do it.

I already try this in my gedcom but it's not working (2 TYPE REFN):

That's a custom ID.

Go to the All tab on the property box, right click on the name to Add Miscellaneous and choose Custom ID.

If you want to do this frequently and see it easily, you can add it to the main tab of the property box by choosing Customize Data Antry under the cog menu (top right on the property box), find 'Custom ID' in the left hand pane and add it to the right using the > button. Move it to where you want it using the up and down arrow buttons.
