Can one customise the Edit > Find - Search window so it only selects names and nothing else without having untick things all the time?

The simplest way to search for names is to open the records window, and enter your search filter into the box at top left or enter their ID in box top right. Once you find who you are looking for, double-click their name to open their property box.
