Label Printing

Post by MLawrence » 17 Jun 2020 12:53

Hi
Is there already a feature/plugin available for printing labels from within Family Historian or for exporting the data to enable printing from MS Word?

I have Descendant charts which are too wide for a standard A4 ink jet printer and A4 binder, so I use blank, paper working charts that are folded to fit into an A4 binder. Rather than enter manual information in these charts I was looking for something that could be used to print labels, with those details from the charts, on to archive labels.

Thank you for any clues ...

Kind regards
Margaret

Duh, I think I have found the answer, there is a standard query for descendants that I can copy, modify and save that meets my requirements!

A thought on this one, you did realise you can create manual charts in FH with the boxes linked to data in your tree, so you could reproduce your working charts and pull all the data in directly?

Also don't forget the Descendant outline report which is a good choice for compact reporting.
