Producing a list of each generation

Post by oldenstar » 06 Jun 2020 14:16

Is it possible for FH to produce a list of each generation?
For instance a list of the Great Great Great Grandparents, which should be of course 32 names?
Or the 64 4 x Greats?
Many thanks
Paul

There is a standard Query called 'Ancestors' which lists all the direct ancestors of a given starting person. One of the columns in the results set is the generation number, and by default the results are sorted on this column so you can see each generation grouped together.

Also the standard Ancestor Diagram displays generation by generation but graphically.

Thank you all.
The query produces the perfect answer for me.
Excuse me for being so dense.
