* Paternal Ancestors highlighted
Paternal Ancestors highlighted
I am very new to FH so please forgive me if this question has been asked before. In a complex family diagram is it possible to have a different box colour, border or line to make the paternal ancestry line more obvious?

Re: Paternal Ancestors highlighted
The easiest way do this is using the "Family Connection mapper and select the first and last in the Paternal line on the diagram and then add a route.
Another option if you want you could use an expression or flag to colour the boxes using the Box tab of diagram options along the lines of "is Ancestor of the Root and is descendant of the "top of the male line".

Please don't apologise for being a newcomer - I've been using FH for over ten years, and I still learn a lot from the answers to questions like yours.
