Sample Family GED COM file

Post by Ossie57 » 30 Apr 2020 18:36

Hi,

When I originally purchased FH, it came with a sample family already installed. I deleted this family as I thought I wouldnt need it. However, I wish to do some testing but dont want to do it on my own family, so I wondered if anyone could send me the Sample Family please.

Thanks

Dave

Dave

I think that you will find that you can DIY.

Open the File > Project Window dialog select More Tasks go down to Samples and then select Reset Sample Project.

Another trick I use is to use the Export to export a "chunk" of my tree and then create a project from that to play with.

That way if I am testing out new entry methods or tricks I have familiar data to play with.

Thank you both for your replies. I reset tha Sample project and all is back for me to play with. I hadn't thought about your idea Jane but that too would work for me.
