Marriage Licence wording in Records Window

I'm using Windows 10, FH 6.2.7, and the International setting is correctly at English - UK.

I ran a Fact query recently to find instances of a Marriage Licence - there was just a single row: Exclude unless =FactLabel (%FACT%) contains 'licence' One of the columns in the results was configured to show %FACT% and I was surprised to see that the text in this column was "Marriage license obtained.... [date, place]" using the non-UK spelling of 'licence'.

This is also seen in the Record window, Family tab if you include a column showing the Marriage Licence - see image marrlic01.jpg:

This seems to me to be a typo and I intend to report it to Calico Pie, but before I do, please could someone confirm whether there is an additional problem?

As a workaround I tried to edit the Fact Definition by overriding the template for the Record window listing - see image marrlic02.jpg (this is just a test - my final wording would be different):

However, the override didn't work. I tried restarting FH in case that would make it stick, but it didn't. Have I done something wrong, or should it be included in my report to Calico Pie?

Arthur, I can confirm your findings, and it is not customisable.

I reported to Calico Pie in October 2017 with subject Fact Name Derivation Inconsistent log number #697295.
Fact names in different contexts are derived from the Fact Definition for Name, Label, Abbreviation, Override Templates and sometimes FH internal text that cannot be customised.
The Property Box All tab and Records Window mostly use the Label except for the contracted Standard Events that use some other name that cannot be adjusted.

It is that last case that you have tripped over. Please report it and mention my report by subject & number.

The UK uses both spellings depending on context.

In the US, use "license" for noun and verb.
In the UK, use "licence" for the noun, but use "license" for the verb.

But here it is being used as a noun: Marriage licence obtained... so should NOT use license
Marriage = adjective
licence = noun
obtained = verb

Mike - thanks for confirming my observation.

I've reported it to Calico Pie with a reference to your report, and will see what happens.

I've had a reply from Calico Pie, and it explains how to configure the column in the Record window:
Extra columns are configured by right-clicking on the background of the relevant tab, and choosing 'Columns'. To get what you want, you need to set the expression used for the 'Marr Lic' column to

=CombineText("Marriage licence obtained ", %FAM.MARL.DATE%, "", "")

If you want the place as well as the date, use this:

=CombineText("Marriage licence obtained ", %FAM.MARL.DATE%, CombineText(" in ", %FAM.MARL.PLAC%, "", ""), "")
This works, but I hope they'll be able to correct the misspelling so that it isn't necessary.

Yes, their solution is not a fix, and does not resolve the fundamental problem, especially on the All tab.

I don't often delve into the All tab, so hadn't noticed the problem there. I've just reminded Calico Pie of this.

UPDATE:
They have logged the issue.
