How Related Report

Post by Mosha »

Hi everyone.
Is there a way to generate the How Related Report so that is shows full event dates under each individual? For example

SUBJECT ONE is the son of
-birth
- marr
- death
SUBJECT 2 daugther of
-birth
-marriage
-death

and so on... I do appreciate any sugestions and guidance.
Thank you

The report cannot show marriage dates but it does show each person's birth and death years, in the format "(nnnn-nnnn)", provided the option Dates with Names is selected on the Contents tab of the Report Options. (It should be selected by default.)

On the Format tab of the Report Options there is a drop-down menu to select Format for Dates but changing this from the default Compact to Long doesn't make any difference.

If you want to see all the dates in full, including marriage, the best option is to use the How Related tool to Display Graphically and Hide Spouses and Siblings. You can then use a diagram text sheme to include exactly the information you want.

BTW: I've moved this to the FH General Usage Forum because How Related is a built-in Tool and not a Plugin.
