Is it possible to copy a Record(s) from one Gedcom file to another Gedcom File within my Family Historian software? I don't want to import the whole Gedcom file into the 2nd one just certain records from it.

Yes

All you do is select export a gedcom and choose the records to export and then fill the options in. If you want more options than available in the standard export then take a look at Mikes plugin.

You cannot cut & paste from one tree to another (be nice if you could ), which is what I think you’re asking, but you need to do it via a gedcom import. This is the whole point of gedcoms, i.e. transferring data.

If you add the records you want to move into a list, you could then export just the people on the list from the old tree, into a gedcom file which you could then import into the new tree.

The exact technique depends on which records you wish to transfer.
I assume you are mainly interested in Individuals and Family groups.
The general idea is to use File > Import/Export > Export > GEDCOM File and Select who you want to transfer.
You then need to make decisions about linked Source, Place, Media records, etc.

That exported GEDCOM is then imported to the other Project using the File > Merge/Compare File command.

If any of the assumptions made above are wrong, then please clarify what records you want to transfer.

However, it does beg the question why you want what will be duplicated records in two separate Projects.
It implies that any future updates to those records, including adding new relatives, will have to be performed twice, or that export & merge process repeated each time.
Would it be better to merge the two Projects in one composite Project, which is what we usually advise.
