Editing repository record.

Post by jclifford » 22 Apr 2019 08:58

Is it possible to change details in a repository record, or do I have to create a new one and then merge the two together?

Yes, you can edit a Repository record in the same way as you can edit ANY type of record (Individual, Family, Note, Source, Media, Place, etc).

Either open a Source record that you know links to the Repository record and click the right-hand button to Go to Repository record, or in the Records Window on its Repositories tab open the required record. Then you can edit that record any way you like.

If you don't have a Repositories tab in the Records Window then follow the advice in how_to:key_features_for_newcomers#records_fields_multimedia|> Records & Fields & Multimedia.
