Media image placement in Summary reports

An individual summary report runs fine.
When media was entered into Family Historian (6.2.7) it was as the media files were obtained, and since then years (1900- 2009) have been entered so that I have an ordered sort on early to current images. When I print however I can not get the same order, they print out as entered.
Now, I can alter "Pref" entries column, but with something like 150 entries to move around it is a bit of a battle.
Is there a way to select "Date" output instead of the default "Pref" :?:

I don't think there is an option for that, but you could write a plugin to sort the Individual media by date if that is the media you mean. I assume you are talking about media attached to the Individual on the media tab rather than attached to events or sources.

I have put together a very quick plugin for this. Please test carefully on a COPY of your Project.

It will prompt for a single record, but once tested it would be easy to change to work on multiple records.

Jane,
Bless you, I was about to dust off my programming skills, haven't used them for 25 years.
This will be fun.
Regards,
Ronald.

You are welcome, 25 years ago was probably the last time I actually wrote a bubble sort from scratch. Not very efficient, but I think it does the job OK.

As an aside, why did you not convert each Date into some yyyymmdd format and use the table.sort(...) function?

I would have still had to reorder the items so it made more sense to me to do it in-line.
