Second and Third Marriages

Post by SilverSchnauzer » 19 Mar 2019 17:03

I have entered myself, my siblings, and my parents. My question is how to enter second and third marriages. My father was married twice before marrying my mother. There are several ancestors in my family tree that were married more than once. Do I have to enter those marriages in order or will the software put those other marriages in order? Thank you in advance for your help.

Above you will see a screen grab from the property box, two tabs and a + to add extra spouses.

Once you have more than one spouse clicking on the curved arrows on the right will re-order the spouses.

No only if you already have his spouse in the Project, but unattached, mostly that only get's used when someone marries a relation such as a Cousin's marriage.

Thank you Mike I will do that the next time I enter my family's information and double check what I have entered. This was very helpful.
