INCORRECT INPUT

Post by princecharlie123 » 30 Jan 2019 14:40

I have somehow given a relation two fathers when she only had one!
How do I get rid of her record under the incorrect father but leave him on the tree as he was her uncle? I want to keep the redords of everyone the same but just uncouple her from the incorrect father!!
Many thanks in advance

Go to the focus window for the Uncle, then right click on the incorrect Child where listed in the child list and select Unlink Record.

That is NOT the focus window it is the Property Box on a diagram.
This is the Focus Window

You don't appear to be in the FOCUS window as Jane suggested.
You have a Diagram Window and Property box window open, not the Focus window!

Click the magnifying Glass icon in the left hand column (Topmost Icon) to open focus window or button marked focus in toolbar
Navigate to the Uncle, and in the list of his children, highlight the incorrect child, right click and select Unlink Record
