Post by PeterD » 23 Jan 2019 14:32

I have just upgraded to a new computer running windows10, I only have the discs to load up-to version 4 as i brought the upgrade to 5 as a download. I have the reg Key Order no etc, I also find I can load the old tree data but none of the media files etc that i had. Can anyone help.

See the how_to:family_historian_installation_details|> Family Historian Installation Details where it explains you only need that download and the V5 and V4 licence keys.

For PC to PC migration see how_to:family_historian_migration_guide|> Family Historian V5 & V6 Migration Guide which has advice about Media, etc.

If anything unclear then ask again.
