Ancestor diagram for two siblings?

I am pretty new to diagrams in fh.
Is it possible to show the brother or sister of the root person when outputting an ancestor tree?
How does one select to show siblings?
My search for help on this was not helped by the search discounting the word diagram -

By definition an Ancestor diagram displays only direct ancestors, so siblings will not be included. However you could use an Ancestors and Descendants diagram (the third of the diagram icons in the main toolbar), and in the Diagram Options > General tab set Generations down to 1, and set Spouse display options to No spouse info. This will include the root's siblings without their spouses or descendants.

Yes, an Ancestor Diagram won't show siblings at any generation.

The Ancestors and Descendants Diagram will only show siblings of the root and descendant branches.

To obtain siblings amongst ancestors requires the All Relatives Diagram.

The very top Search box above FHUG Forum does accept diagram whereas the Search this forum/topic box does not, as announced by Search Update (16461).

Evelyn specifically asked about displaying a brother or sister of the root.

I was just pre-empting further questions :)

Thank you both. I had imagined that one could just add people at will. This is the first time I have been asked to give info only through diagrams to someone who does not have genealogy software nor a windows computer.
I should add with apologies that I have used treedraw and keep using fh as if it were the same programme.

This isnt a negative - I love the instant diagrams in fh and use them all the time.

You cannot just add people at will in FH.
You must either choose the appropriate type of Diagram or use the Diagram > Insert Into Diagram options to add sub-trees.

I suspect this Project is some research you are doing on behalf of somebody else.
Is the family tree quite small (perhaps only direct ancestors plus a few offshoot branches)?
If so, then always start by trying the All Relatives Diagram which should show everyone directly related to the root.

You may need to choose the root family couple to include the ancestors of both spouses.
To do that, select the blue marriage bar running across below the couple in the Focus Window before displaying the Diagram.

But starting with an all relatives diagram you can hide people.

I'm doing the research for my ancestors and my wife's, but our two children are, at least in my mind, the root of my tree, so I can see why this question arises. I have a collection of diagrams, all of which are formatted for A4 paper. I've used all relatives diagrams for every one, and hidden individuals or branches where appropriate.
