I have line in my diagram text scheme to show the relationship pool number.
Is there a way to make this conditional, so that the line only shows if it is NOT pool 1

Yes, use the Template:
=TextIf( RelationPool() > 1, Text("Family Pool Number Is " . RelationPool()), )

I guess you know that will only display for sub-trees that are not part of your largest tree.
Everyone shown in the same Diagram tree will have the same Pool Number.
So for a single tree Diagram all will have same Pool Number and you only need =RelationPool() in a title Text Box.
For a multi-tree Diagram where you have used Insert into Diagram you only need one title Text Box near each sub-tree.
