Fact definition usage

Post by londonscorpion » 11 Nov 2018 18:32

I'm in the process of rationalising my fact definitions - many years of slack and mis-informed usage have taken their toll! Is there a report I can now use to tell me how many times a fact (or facts) have been used and where?

There is a standard query called All Facts which produces a complete list of facts with columns showing the Fact Owners, Place and precise Event/Attribute. If you click on the heading of the Fact Type column it will sort the facts alphabetically so that all facts of the same type are listed together. Scrolling down will reveal every fact type. Double-clicking on an item in the Event/Attribute column will open the Property Box with the focus on the fact.

If you want a query to produce a list of uses of just one particular fact the standard query can be customised to use a parameter. Ask again if you want to do that.
