Hello FHUG Forum!
Last year you kindly helped me resolve a problem with a marriage (not mine I hasten to add!).
Unfortunately I have now managed to create another problem:
1. Marriage one. I have Jeremiah Hewer married Alice Jenner in 1693. They have six children.
2. Marriage two. I have inadvertently added Alice Jenner (the same one) as a second spouse of Jeremiah Hewer (the same one) with one child, Thomas.
3. Just to be clear all seven children are of Alice and Jeremiah.
How do I move Thomas to be with his six siblings in marriage one and delete marriage two? I've tried using unlink/link but I've got myself in a muddle.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks.

Re: Another marriage problem!
The solution to the original problem would have been to locate and merge the two Family records of Jeremiah and Alice.
But I am nervous about describing that process, because you say you've used unlink/link and got yourself in a muddle.
Is the current 'muddle' more complex than your points 1, 2 & 3?
A possible solution is similar to that suggested last year. The key is remembering about Family records.
You should not need to be too worried about deleting, because FH keeps daily Snapshot backups automatically.
Alternatively, create your own Backup manually, just in case things go awry, and then you can Restore from backup.
We can give advice on how to do that if you are unsure.
