Importing Findmypast record matches

I have accepted a findmypast record match and wondering what does this actually do as the data does not appear against the individual. The record I would like to add is a 1901 census return for a father of my grandmother. In the past I have used Ancestral Sources for adding Census returns (as recommended on the video tutorials) and would like to keep data entry consistent. Does anybody have experience and or advice on importing from findmypast?

Findmypast hints only show you records that may be of interest; they don't write any information into your Family Historian data. It's an aid to searching, not to data entry. You should continue to use AS to enter that data.

Thanks ColeValleyGirl; interesting web site.

So when you hit the "Yes, accept" button:-

What does that do?

Thank you Jonathan.

It moves the hint to 'Accepted' status, which means it doesn't show up again for you to review. (Reject does a similar thing).

Exactly what did you change?
Please state the exact FH &/or FMP commands used.

Changing the FMP Filter via Internet > Internet Data Matches > FindMyPast > Settings should work OK.

BTW: Did you see how_to:internet_data_matches|> Internet Data Matches?

Changes made in FH and perhaps I was being a little impatient or forgot where I had been; whoops!

Kind regards Jonathan.
