Website citations for Living People

I am ready to make my website live except for one small detail. When the Living Flag is set all details are suppressed as expected, however Citations for the persons Name are not. I have used the GRO birth index, GRO marriage index or parish baptism records as primary sources of the name. The issue is that a birth index entered as Ipswich 1953 Q2 volume:4b page:1139 in the Where within Source field for example still appears. I cannot seem to find a setting within the Website Wizard to switch this off as well. Is this possible as I currently have 1,524 people living, most with a birth index record?

You could experiment with the Clean Living Persons plugin to see if you can achieve what you need (there's certainly an option to remove all sources for a living person).

Beware that the Clean Living Persons Plugin permanently deletes data.
Essentially you need to follow the advice in how_to:exporting_gedcom_with_multimedia#export_to_website_without_sensitive_data|> Export to Website Without Sensitive Data.
Instead of completing with the Export Gedcom File Plugin, you must use the Website Wizard but that requires a Project.
So you must create a temporary Project from the standalone GEDCOM file and run the Wizard on that.

I always make a copy (named Publication XXX) of my project (XXX) and then run Clean Living Persons and then (in my case) run an Export but in your case you'd make the website. When I've finished I delete the Publication copy to ensure I don't update it by mistake instead of the main project.

Yes, in hindsight creating a Copy of the Project first is better.
An advantage is that the saved Website Wizard settings are included in the copy, so you don't have to select them afresh..
However, if you delete that copy, then all the master web page files that live in the …\Public\FH Website\ folder, will also get deleted.
Helen does not need to worry about either of those scenarios because she is only using Export options.
