On another topic, when you add place and date information to a fact, especially if the PLACE goes from town to county to England, how do you stop the clunkiness of the narrative reports which have one sentence per fact, repeating the place and date?

Re: Repetitive Place and Date in Narrative Reports
There have been many postings about customising Narrative Reports.
By default the Narrative Report > Options > Main tab has Use Short Form for Repeated Place Names ticked, which should cause just the first comma separated Place name part to be inserted, after its initial use.
Otherwise, use the features described in how_to:narrative_report_fact_sentence_templates|> Narrative Report Fact Sentence Templates to customise your sentence constructions. The Default Fact Definitions apply to all Facts, but if necessary you can alter the Sentence for each and every Fact as described under Specific Fact Sentences.
Some users change the Default Fact Definitions to just refer to Note fields and compose their own narrative in those Note fields.
Unfortunately, there is no simple shortcut. Automatic machine generated narrative is inevitably going to be somewhat repetitive and 'clunky'. More interesting narrative will require you to spend time customising the sentences.
