* How to get at all sources linked to all individuals from a named list?

Hi All,

looks like I come here only when I have a problem ... (not enough time elsewise)

I have a list of individuals in a named list (that's basic and not the question). The question is: is there a way to create a list of all the sources linked to all individuals from that named list? So what I am looking for is kind of a cumulative "Sources for Given Record" query.

Do you want the "really really" quick and dirty method.

Use the Export option to export all the records for the named list. It will export all the sources along side them.

If you want something more elegant I suspect you might need a plugin rather than a query, but someone else might think of a better way.

oh, yes! I should have thought of that. Yes, "quick and dirty" does it pretty well.

There is a caveat.
If any of those Individuals are in the same Family (Spouses, or Parents of Children), then their Family records will be retained and any Sources linked to those records will also be included, but are only linked to the Individuals indirectly via the Family record.
Providing you ticked the options to Exclude all other record types (except Sources) then the above scenario will not apply to them.
