_FSFTID in Facts List

What is this _FSFTID which I seem to have scattered throughout my tree? If it is of no use/value, how can I delete them all in one go, withut having to trawl through each record?

Presumably you have imported your
Project from another genealogy product.
Did you checkout how_to:index#importing_to_family_historian|> Importing to Family Historian?
As it starts with an underscore it is an
Uncategorised Data Field (
UDF) and was probably reported as such in
Log Files when you imported.
The solution is the same as we gave in your
Deleting UID fields (14313) posting.

Mike,
Thanks for that - I thought that might be it and ran the UDF Plugin again (as in my old post), but the result is that it comes up with 'No UDF Items found'. So I have got rid of the UDFs but not these _FSFTIDs! What next?

That is a bit odd, as I do not recognise _FSFTID as a valid FH GEDCOM tag.
Can you post a screen-shot of where they are visible please.
See info:forums#posting_topics|> Posting Topics for attaching images.

Possibly Family Search Family Tree ID?

That is a genuine Custom Attribute fact with the Name of _FSFTID and was probably imported as such.
We know it is a fact, because it appears on the Facts tab.
So use View > Standard Queries > All Facts, click on Fact Type column head to bring them all to the top.
Select all their Event/Attribute column values and hit Delete key.

Many thanks to all - those _FSFTID facts are now duly deleted! Goodness knows where they came from (but I have imported and re-imported over time from Gedcoms and a few other genealogy programs!).

It is a Family Search Family Tree ID.

As Rick says, it's a Family Search Family Tree ID, and M673-FP8 in FS Family Tree is indeed Priscilla Knight. This suggests that whoever you got the data from has either downloaded the data from FSFT (not sure if that's possible) or synched it in their software with FS Family Tree. Not that there appears to be much in FS Family Tree for her...
