* How to match Property Box to Person in Focus Window?

I have a repeated problem. (for which I am once again unable to find an answer.)

After using the Search function, i.e. text search, there is an option to locate a person in the Property box.
I use this option quite a lot.

But the person shown in the Focus window remains unchanged.
And I have no idea how to get the person now in the Property Box to show in the focus window as well.

If one clicks the focus icon, that does the opposite and brings the person still in the Focus window into the property box.

It is very time consuming having to search and locate them in the long list of individuals and then Focus on them. So I am hoping there must be another way?

Evelyn, if you have the individual you're interested displayed in the property box, clicking the focus icon at the top of the property box will change the individual in the focus window to match the property box.

And if you have an individual selected in the records list, clicking the focus icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen will do the same.

Which of these isn't working for you?

Evelyn, I think we have been here before, and I suspect you have not made appropriate notes.

There are several Display in Focus Window magnifying glass icons:
One is in the main toolbar.
Another is in the Property Box which makes that person the Focus, and answers your current question.
Others are within the Focus Window and make those people the Focus.

Sorry,Yes. I tried the other two magnifying glasses. But not that one as I thought that one to the right would show the source (below it).

I realise now that a source cant be in a Focus Window - but that didnt occur to me then. As one can look at the full source entry, and I did open the cog wheel in that row.
