Is it possible to customise the Bottom section of the Property box window?
e.g. I would like to see if I have the death dates for children in the same window as when I am looking at the parents basic information.
I find it a real pain having to go into to each record individually to check basic facts such as Death dates.
I would just like to be able to see if I have entered all the death dates or know the ones I need to research for the extended families if have in my tree.

No, that is not possible.
However, if you click the Display in Focus Window magnifying glass icon in Property Box toolbar, then the Death dates are shown for Children in Focus Window, which may actually be Death or Burial or Cremation dates.
Alternatively, start with the Focus Window as your primary review tool, with Property Box docked alongside.
Some users prefer using a Diagram to review such family details, also with Property Box docked alongside.
Alternatively, use Quick Family Facts Plugin that has various display options, and can be invoked with keyboard shortcut Alt T Q. Once open you can quickly navigate around the family.

What I do is display a tree for the relevant part of the family. I select 'birth, baptism, marriage, death and burial' to be shown in the diagram and then you can get a quick glance at which events you haven't entered.
