Hi:
In testing the 6.2 version and using the Family Search Web site using the Family History software internal browser, I get a note from the Family History site, indicating that the browser in use is Internet Explorer 11, and that their site will no longer be functioning with this version of Internet Explorer after February 1st of this year.
I can, of course, use the external browser option, but it strikes me that someone should be updating the internal browser option.

Very strange. IE 11 is the most current version. According to the FS website https://www.familysearch.org/browser-upgrade, they now will support only Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.

Don, it is a restriction of Windows that the only browser allowed within a program internal window is the IE Shell.
IE 11 is the latest version, so nothing can be updated.
Thus you will have to use an external browser for that Family Search web site, or take up their option of :-
"I want to use my current web browser, knowing that some of the features won't work."
