Applying a universal source citation

Post by Kate » 18 Dec 2017 04:34

Does anyone know of a way to apply a single source as a citation to all the records in a dataset? I am importing a gedcom file and would like to have that file's name and information cited as the source for all the information in it (as a subset of data in my new FH database). I know this was possible in TMG but cannot see an equivalent in FH. Any pointers would be much appreciated. Kate

From memory, when you import a gedcom, FH offers to create such a source for you

If you want to apply a source to all the data in a file, but not during the merge process. If you set up a "blank" Project you can merge in the file and use the citation options of the merge to add a source to every record etc
